The Academy Library is open to anyone working in research and teaching who is interested as well as to members of the public in general. The stocks can be used in the reading room or externally via local or long-distance lending as well as direct supply services for documents.
In the reading room with its new, modern interior, workplaces equipped with an Internet link are available for the user.
Web-OPAC and union catalogues are available for literature research on the internet. Examples in the help menu of the catalogues illustrate the research possibilities.
Literature that is not yet electronically recorded can be researched in the digitalized central cataloges of Saxony-Anhalt. However, direct ordering from these catalogues is not possible.
In addition, alphabetical and classified card indices as well as electronical allegro-C catalogues for special researches are available in the library.
